What You Might Want to Know
How Long is Your Service?
Our service begins at 10:00am and ends around 11:15am (depends on how wordy the pastor gets…)
Which Door Should I Enter?
When you pull into our parking lot and park behind the church, you’ll see our office entrance at the back. While you can get into the church this way, most people will walk around to the front of the church and enter there. At our front entrance you’ll find our super cheerful and amazingly good-looking greeter who can direct you the right way.
How Does Your Nursery Work?
We believe God calls everyone to worship and that children add to the worship experience. We even like screaming babies! After the Children’s message, all the kids (preschool through 4th grade) are invited to head down to Epic Kids Ministry. But, if you need to escape before then, (all parents have been there) the Nursery and Kids Ministry rooms are open during the whole service for your convenience.
What About School Aged Children?
We love kids! Of all shapes, sizes, and ages! We love the noise they make during worship, and feel that it adds to the church body and experience of worshiping our God. But we also understand that not all kids can sit still, or relatively still, for an hour. They also learn on a different level than adults. That’s why we offer Epic Kids Ministry! After the Children’s message all kids will be invited to go down and learn the Bible lesson on their level with our awesome children’s ministry staff.
What Will I Feel Comfortable Wearing?
We’re all over the map on this one! Some of us go all out and wear some very spiffy suits and dresses. Others are more comfortable in khaki’s and polo shirts. Still others like more t-shirt and jeans people. All are welcome and encouraged. Come as you are most comfortable!
What Type of Music Should I Expect?
Worship is a time for us to experience the presence of God, and remind ourselves of who God is, what God has done, and what God is doing. We do this through a lot of different musical styles, but mostly we like the traditional hymns and liturgy. It gives us a feeling of tradition, and helps us connect to our roots as United Methodists.
